Membership in the Museums and Archives is $10 which buys a membership in the DSMS. This is not required except for the Director for Museum & Archives and officers who include the Outreach Coordinator, Keeper of Archives, and Keeper of Artefacts. This is because they are responsible for care of cultural assets, represent the DSMS through the Museum & Archives  to the public, or have budget responsibility. 

Most volunteers join as Friends of the Museum and participate as and when they wish without paying fees.
