WINNIE ISBISTER (BAIKIE) fonds – 1910-1979 – 1.0cm. photo album and 100 postcards
This fonds contains 3 items. (A.19.05) – Loc.A-F-5 is a 30 pp. photo album containing 95 postcards collected by Winnie when she was a teenager around 1914. Scenes are from the Orkney Islands, Canada, the United States and Christmas.
The album came from Hazel Kelly, Winnie’s daughter through Linda Schmidt.
(A.19.06) – Loc.A-P-1 is 60 loose postcards all addressed to Winnie Baikie, many having written messages. They date from around 1910, but only about half have postage. Most are from family members and are scenes from Canada, the U.S., Europe and Christmas.
(A.19.07) – Loc.A-P-1 is 45 loose postcards all addressed to Mrs. William Baikie (Lena), Winnie’s mother from 1907 to 1912. Twelve are from William Baikie’s trip to the Orkneys, the rest from family members with images of Canada, the U.S., Japan, and Europe.
