Life was good for Denman Islanders in 1923. Farming was profitable and wage work in forestry was available. Denman Islanders entertained themselves and others with theatrical performances and played Golf. The Women’s Institute contributed to the general welfare (and collected 4 sacks of clothing for Alberta Relief).
